Vrooom is Evan’s approach to life!  Last Sunday, I spent a wonderful afternoon with Olga and Barrett and their handsome little boy, Evan.  Evan is about 8 months old and he is everywhere at once!  He’s so active and fun and loves to speed along with his red wagon.  Watching Evan giggle with glee as Barrett wooshed him through the air like an airplane is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon!

Last Sunday, I took photos of the most beautiful baby in the world!  Ok, maybe I say that about every baby, but very seriously, how can you not become completely addicted to those blue eyes?!

Aubrey is not only a most darling baby, but she is smiley and cheerful and engaging.  Her parents, Tara and John, are so superb at coming up with the most creative ways to bring a smile to her face!  It’s so clear how much they adore her and anyone can easily see why :)

Last Saturday, I participated in a fundraiser to benefit Homeward Trails Animal Rescue.  Homeward Trails helps to find homes for thousands of homeless cats and dogs in the DC area each year.  This particular fundraiser helped to raise money for a dog with a broken leg, Hazel.  If you’d like to help Hazel, click here.  If you are interested in adopting or fostering an animal with Homeward Trails, click here.

The shoot was so much fun – the Starks looked like a family who’d walked right out of a Christmas catalog!  Jacob and Chloe, their kids, are just gorgeous and so much fun to photograph!  I loved watching the family interact with each other – they were so at ease together and I had a blast watching them joke and play around.
And the Rods’ dogs were just so adorable!  We had a great time playing with hats and balls and all sorts of fun toys (and of course other objects that were never meant to be toys!)!
Keep an eye on the Homeward Trails website to sign up for the next Fotos for Furries fundraiser!

While spending a couple of hours with Laura and her beautiful baby, Kara, last Tuesday, I learned something new: babies LOVE to be naked!
Kara is only about 8 weeks old and is just beginning to smile and become more animated.  It’s so much fun to watch all the tiny expressions that cross her little face!  And when it was time to change into her fancy Christmas dress, she got so excited about shedding those constricting clothes!
