The name Helene means “shining light” and that’s just exactly what this little 6 month old girl is! I had the great pleasure of spending the morning with Helene and her parents recently and I haven’t met a more smiley baby. When I walked in the front door and said, “Hello Helene, it’s so nice to meet you,” Helene replied with a great big, sunny grin!

After a little while indoors, exploring all of Helene’s really great toys and getting a change of clothes for her, we headed to Stanton Park. We were a bit surprised to find some sort of bike race for small children when we got there – about 100 little kids zooming around in circles on their bikes and scooters!! But we were able to find a semi-quiet spot and have a little more playtime.

Helene was really fascinated by the grass – she had some fun trying to pull it all out of the ground :)

It’s tough work being an adorable baby….very tiring you know!
