I was already booked for their wedding date, but Katie & Ryan gave them an engagement session with me as a gift. So last weekend, we played around at the Jefferson Memorial and got ourselves in trouble with the guards many times – oops! But all ended well and we got some great shots – and I completely agree with our mutual friends – Elizabeth & Ryan are pretty fantastic Congrats to these two on their impending marriage!

I love engagement shoots! It’s so much fun getting to know a couple when they’re engaged and to get an idea of how they are in front of a camera. Katie & Steve were great last weekend and were up for anything. We trooped around Old Town Alexandria, and they were such sports and had so much fun – Steve even commented that it was the best engagement shoot he’d ever been on! ;P

Ali & Tyler’s wedding in September was just spectacular! I have to thank Studio Diana for having me along to shoot with them – it was such a great time shooting with Jenni, as always!
