I can’t wait to show you the gorgeous weddings we shot this weekend! Still working through all the photos, but I couldn’t help but hurry and post a favorite from each – just a little taste of what’s to come!
Jessica + Adam had a fun and fabulous downtown DC wedding at the gorgeous W Hotel.

Beth + Ben were married in a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony on the peaceful grounds of Woodlawn Manor in Maryland.

Stay tuned!!
Hi, Dana here! Last weekend, LaDonna braved the drizzling rain and humidity to meet me at the beautiful grounds of St. Francis Hall at the Franciscan Monastery in DC. The scenery there is absolutely stunning and we both especially loved all the roses in bloom. LaDonna was gorgeous, arriving with her hair and makeup looking perfect, and was such a joy to work with! After a little while in the gardens, we headed back to the studio for a little indoor time and enjoyed a delicious red velvet cupcake to reward ourselves for all our hard work!

If you’ve never been hiking at Sugarloaf Mountain in Dickerson, MD – you must go! It’s stunningly gorgeous there and so close to the DC area. Laura & Ryan, wise and worldly as they are, know all about Sugarloaf and chose this gorgeous spot for their engagment photos. After days of ominous weather forecasts, the sun came peeking out and the day was beautiful! We drove all over the mountain, stopping here and there for photos. Laura and Ryan are such sweet, fun people – you can’t help but have a good time around them. And their little poodle is just about the cutest thing you ever did see, no kidding!

We dropped by the grounds of Stronghold Mansion for a few quick shots. It’s so gorgeous there, you could spend the whole day!
I shot this gorgeous DC wedding last year for Jenni from Studio Diana, who is always such a pleasure to work with! The day was beautiful and this quintessential Washington, DC wedding on the roof of the Newseum was just so amazing and fun, I loved it! I haven’t had a chance to blog a few favorites before now, so this is old news, but enjoy all the same!
The bride & groom got ready at the fun and colorful Hotel Monaco in downtown DC.

The details were amazing and the view from the rooftop at the Newseum is absolutely to die for!

She is gorgeous!

As the sun set behind the Washington monument, the bride was a bit overcome with emotion, preparing to walk down the aisle.
I must warn you before you look at this post – prepare yourself from some extra special silliness! Andrea & Chris are really awesome people – they love to laugh and goof around and just have a really fantastic time with each other. Our session just kept on going and they never ran out of energy or delight in each other – it was so much fun!
Andrea and Chris will be getting married on New Year’s Eve in Annapolis, so we headed to the water for their engagement session and got a few fun New Year’s Eve – style shots for their Save the Dates! Can’t wait for the big day at Governer Calvert House!

I just loved this solitary moment with Andrea watching out on the traffic.
