I’m on a quest to make my little urban casa as green and sustainable as it can be!  Everybody needs a project, right?

So, I’ve been doing tons of research about energy efficieny and green roofs and rainwater collection systems and getting a little carried away with dreams of turning my roof into an eco-paradise.  But, I did something actually practical recently and had an energy audit of my house done.  I contacted Greener Home, of Access Green and they sent Grant out (super nice guy by the way…and he loves his cat, so I like him even better!) to look in all of our nooks and crannies and see where our energy is leaking out!  It was really fascinating and they just sent us our report with all this great info about ways we can make our house more energy effecient.  Check out this page from the report.  I love how you can see Grant and my infrared outlines in one of the pictures – I’m the one holding the coffee cup!  I’d definitely recommend doing this for your home – it’s really so helpful!  Next stop on my greening project is to have a consultation with DC Greenworks to determine a plan for my new rooftop garden – I’m so excited!

As some of you know, I’ve been working very hard for awhile now on a new name and branding for my business. With this will come a new website with vastly improved design, portfolio updates and exciting features! Yay!

So, it’s still in the works, but I’m officially announcing that Studio Juno is COMING SOON!
Studio+Juno+Website Drum roll please!

Hi everyone! As many of your know, I am a volunteer for Homeward Trails Animal Rescue. I am helping to raise funds for a very sweet kitty named Anastacia. She needs to have an appointment with a specialist to see if there is something wrong with her airway, as she often makes a snoring noise when she breathes. Please consider making a donation to help Anastacia get the vet care she needs! A little bit can go a long way icon smile Help Anastacia the Kitty!
