When Carrie & Matt decided they’d like to have their engagement session at Tide Point on the harbor in Baltimore, I suggested that perhaps the light would be most beautiful at dawn and we plan for a 7:30am shoot. They happily agreed and at the time, it seemed like such a great plan! And then came the night before, when I was setting my alarm for 5am and thinking “what on earth was I smoking when I thought of this!”
But, once I was fully awake the next morning and watched the sun start to peep above the horizon on the way up to Baltimore, I was glad they’d agreed! It was an absolutely gorgeous morning and after plenty of coffee, we had a great time!
I had a really hard time choosing my favorite shots to put on the blog because there are so many that I love! So here are a bunch
We met at Koba Cafe for a cup of coffee – there is definitely no better way to start a session that early in the morning!
And then on to Tide Point, with the sun shining across the bay and the city spread out behind us. Baltimore is really growing on me – every time that I shoot there, my head spins with all the great industrial backgrounds – it really feels like a REAL city!
From there, we hopped over to Fort McHenry, which has so many cool little spots.
Can’t wait for the wedding next June at the Baltimore Museum of Industry! Congrats guys!
