Laura & Drew

The first engagement session of the season was last week and it couldn’t have been more beautiful!  Laura & Drew are getting married in October in western Maryland.  They wanted to take advantage of the gorgeous cherry blossoms, so we started downtown last Tuesday.  We first had a quick drink at The Source and then meandered about town.

Laura & Drew are possibly the cutest couple ever!  They are one of those couples who just seem so perfectly harmonious together.  They make each other laugh endlessly – after an evening with them, I can’t imagine either of them without the other!

Ok, so technically, these aren’t cherry blossoms, they’re magnolias, but really, who’s keeping track when they’re this gorgeous!

Thanks to the blackout in DC last Tuesday, we couldn’t make it to our second location just outside DC because traffic was horrible and we ran out of light.  So we rescheduled “scene II” for that Friday.  After a very dreary and rain-drenched Friday, we rescheduled again for Saturday, and it couldn’t have been a more gorgeous day!

Laura & Drew had a picnic in front of the Netherlands Carillon.  In case you don’t know what that is – it’s that big bell tower beside Iwo Jima – yes, it has a name – who knew?!

It really was a sun-kissed day!
