Everywhere you turn these days, you see organizations and people “going green.” It’s a remarkable trend and hopefully one that will become a must for every individual, business and non-profit out there!
Green can mean many things to many people. To Studio Juno, it’s about much more than offering a “green package,” or a “green album” or recycling once in awhile. Conservation is not something that can be separated from daily life – it’s a way of living and a way of viewing the world.
We have always made efforts to conserve, reuse and be conscious of our consumption. But it was when Leah started to really research “going green,” that we realized how much more could be done.
Now, Studio Juno makes every decision, from how to discard something that can no longer be useful, to what equipment to buy, to how to power that equipment, to what products to clean our office with, to how to get where we’re going, with environmental sustainability in mind.
We reuse everything we can – shipping materials, rechargeable batteries, old equipment and “disposable” bottles, to name just a few. What we can’t reuse, we recycle whenever possible. We walk when we can, drive hybrid when we can’t, use electronic contracts and avoid using paper whenever possible and appropriate. And of course, all of our products are as environmentally friendly as possible, without sacrificing quality or durability.
We do not offer “green packages” because all of our packages are green. We do carefully research all of the options available to provide our clients with the best balance of environmentally sustainable products and a high-quality service with the smallest environmental impact possible.
If you have any suggestions, ideas or comments on how to help us to become a business that contributes to sustainability in a greater way, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
